crafting My dreams into reality

Curiosity

Technology creates curiosity in me. Centered around the most valuable resource of the 21st century, data, it is fueling the world. Based on data, we can understand the world around us better and help others to do so.

Approaches with artificial intelligence enable us to not just describe the current state of the world, but also to estimate its future. More advanced models of the recent years even lead to creation of various media forms or superhuman skills in complex games. While data enables all those helpful opportunities, correctness and ownership rights are often ignored. With blockchain technology, traceability and control of one self's data can be ensured. In my opinion, both technologies are crucial for the next generation of products and services.

To utilize the opportunities of artificial intelligence and blockchain technology, education is a central pillar for me. Knowledge about in-depth mechanisms and a broad range of approaches for solving problems allowed me to conduct state-of-the-art-research or develop customer-centered applications. Connected with hands-on experience as an intern or working student, the practical applicability never got out of sight.

My latest positions

Working Student at Infineon AG in Data Science

April 2022 - July 2023

During my job at Infineon AG as a working student in Data Science I investigated supervised learning regression models for time-series demand forecasts. For the evaluation of the next steps, I presented results to division leaders and later cooperated with DevOps team for implementation. Furthermore, I utilized Python to implement a model for outlier detection of user access rights. This model decreased the weekly effort for user access rights management from 4 hours to 20 minutes. Besides that, I contributed to data integration projects and created a Tableau Dashboards for more efficient decision processes in my division.

Intern at Siemens AG in Artificial Intelligence Research

September 2021 - February 2022

As a working student at Siemens AG I Investigated reinforcement learning algorithms for efficient scheduling of processing jobs in manufacturing. My research included improvements in the environment and algorithms with Python and Ray RLlib. Thus, I decreased the running time by 70% through Multiprocessing and improved the algorithms ability to generalize on unknown problems.

Working Student at BE-terna GmbH in Artificial Intelligence

March 2021 - August 2021

In my first working student job I developed a supervised learning model for classifying images of clothing to increase the data quality in databases. To achieve this, I processed over 50,000 images of 100+ classes of clothing for preprocessing and hierarchical classified them with Python and Azure Custom Vision. At the end of my job as a working student I presented results to customers and laid foundation for new joint research project
